جملات کاربردی انگلیسی برای سفر؛ فرودگاه، هتل، رستوران و خرید

برای سفر خارجی لازم نیست انگلیسی‌ات عالی باشد. با چند ده جمله‌ی کلیدی و کمی اعتمادبه‌نفس، بیشتر موقعیت‌ها را مدیریت می‌کنی. این جمله‌ها را بر اساس موقعیت دسته‌بندی کرده‌ایم تا قبل از سفر مرورشان کنی.

در فرودگاه

چک‌این

• I'd like to check in, please. — می‌خواهم چک‌این کنم.
• Here's my passport and ticket.
• Can I have a window seat / an aisle seat, please? — صندلی کنار پنجره / کنار راهرو
• How many bags can I check in? — چند چمدان می‌توانم تحویل بدهم؟
• Is this bag OK as hand luggage? — این کیف را می‌توانم همراهم ببرم؟

در گیت و هواپیما

• Which gate is it? / Where is gate 12?
• Is the flight on time? / Is the flight delayed?
• Excuse me, I think you're in my seat.
• Could I have some water, please?

کنترل گذرنامه

• I'm here on holiday / for business / to visit my family.
• I'll be staying for two weeks.
• I'm staying at the Grand Hotel.

در هتل

• I have a reservation under the name Rezaei. — به نام رضایی رزرو دارم.
• What time is check-out?
• Is breakfast included?
• Could I have the Wi-Fi password, please?
• The air conditioning in my room isn't working.
• Could I have an extra towel / pillow, please?
• Could you call a taxi for me, please?

در رستوران

• A table for two, please.
• Could I see the menu, please?
• What do you recommend?
• I'll have the chicken, please. / I'd like the soup.
• Does this contain nuts? I'm allergic. — حساسیت دارم.
• Could I have the bill, please? (در آمریکا بیشتر: the check)
• Can I pay by card?

پرسیدن مسیر

• Excuse me, how do I get to the train station?
• Is it far from here? / Can I walk there?
• Which bus goes to the city centre?
• Could you show me on the map?

جواب‌هایی که احتمالاً می‌شنوی:

• Go straight ahead. — مستقیم برو.
• Turn left / right at the traffic lights.
• It's on your left / right.
• It's about five minutes' walk.

خرید

• How much is this?
• Do you have this in a smaller / larger size?
• Can I try it on? — می‌توانم امتحانش کنم؟
• I'm just looking, thanks. — فقط نگاه می‌کنم.
• Can I get a discount?
• Could I have a receipt, please?

حمل‌ونقل

• A ticket to Manchester, please.
• Single or return? — یک‌طرفه یا رفت‌وبرگشت؟ (در آمریکا: one-way or round-trip)
• What time does the next train leave?
• Could you take me to this address, please? (به راننده‌ی تاکسی)

موقعیت‌های اضطراری

• I need help. / Please help me.
• I've lost my passport.
• Someone stole my wallet.
• I need a doctor. / Where is the nearest hospital?
• Please call the police.

وقتی حرف طرف را نمی‌فهمی

این جمله‌ها از همه مهم‌ترند، چون گفت‌وگو را نجات می‌دهند:

• Sorry, could you repeat that, please?
• Could you speak more slowly, please?
• What does … mean?
• Could you write it down, please?

از گفتنشان خجالت نکش؛ کاملاً طبیعی‌اند و طرف مقابل معمولاً با کمال میل کمکت می‌کند.

چطور قبل از سفر آماده شویم؟

• این جمله‌ها را بلند تمرین کن، نه فقط بخوانی.
• موقعیت‌ها را با یک دوست نقش‌بازی کن: یکی مسافر، یکی کارمند هتل.
• چند هفته قبل از سفر، هر روز کمی گوش دادن تمرین کن تا به سرعت گفتار عادت کنی.
• اگر با لهجه‌ی مقصدت آشنا نیستی، تفاوت انگلیسی بریتانیایی و آمریکایی را بخوان.

اگر سفرت نزدیک است و می‌خواهی در زمان کوتاه برای موقعیت‌های مشخص آماده شوی، چند جلسه کلاس خصوصی با تمرکز بر همین موقعیت‌ها مؤثرترین راه است.
